Menstruation is a complex experience: stigmatized but empowering, painful but powerful, beastly but beautiful. In this art exhibition by Flow Forward NJ, artists and writers of New Jersey were asked to submit pieces and poems inspired by the dichotomy of menstruators, exploring the nuances of the divine feminine, both nurturing and vicious.
This is a charity fundraiser. Art pieces are available for sale in the gallery during the exhibition. Half of the proceeds will be retained by the artist, while the other half will go to Flow Forward NJ. Artists may choose to waive compensation to help with fundraising for Flow Forward NJ.
