Period poverty is a multifacted issue, and its definition includes the lack of menstruation education. Flow Forward NJ offers menstruation education programs to combat harmful stigma and help people feel more comfortable with menstruation!

Girl Scout Workshops

Our Girl Scout Workshops complete all requirements for Senior Girl Scouts to earn their Women’s Health badge. Speak with a gynecologist live about tests to keep women health, complete a project related to menstruation and more! If you’re a senior Girl Scout troop that wants to earn your Women’s Health badge, contact education@flowforwardnj.org.

First Period Workshops

Do you have parents in your community that are interested in preparing for awkward conversations about periods? Are you a parent who wants help teaching your child about periods? These workshops include basic information about menstruation and menstrual products, including how to use them.
