Menstruation Education
Period poverty is a multifacted issue, and its definition includes the lack of menstruation education. Flow Forward NJ offers menstruation education programs to combat harmful stigma and help people feel more comfortable with menstruation!
Girl Scout Workshops
Our Girl Scout Workshops complete all requirements for Senior Girl Scouts to earn their Women’s Health badge. Speak with a gynecologist live about tests to keep women health, complete a project related to menstruation and more! If you’re a senior Girl Scout troop that wants to earn your Women’s Health badge, contact education@flowforwardnj.org.
College Chapters
Flow Forward NJ currently has two volunteer programs at Rowan University and Rutgers University. Volunteering with Flow Forward NJ means getting free menstrual products into the hands of students that need them, and free product machines in your bathrooms!

Flow Kits + Flow Bins
Our Flow Kits reuse stylish makeup bags and fill them full of pads, tampons, and liners for people to take and use on the go. Hand-stuffed by dedicated volunteers, these bags are donated to shelters, food pantries, and community groups to get period products into the hands of those who need them.
Flow Bins are for businesses that want to offer free products to their customers. The bins provide a variety of pads, tampons, and liners for anyone who needs them. Businesses can place these bins in their bathrooms and keep them stocked with donations. These are also a great way to trial free products for businesses who might be interested in getting a dispenser that provides free products.
