About the Piece

This piece is born from the resourcefulness displayed by displaced women in Gaza, who ingeniously fashion period hygiene products from tent scraps. In emulating their creativity, I've employed old socks for a similar purpose. The formidable struggle of managing menstruation with scarce resources transcends socioeconomic boundaries, highlighting the universal difficulty faced by women across various economic classes.
