In this piece, I wanted to make something that reflects my experience of menstruation. Even in its most gut-wrenching moments, I’ve felt supported by the quiet camaraderie of someone else sharing their products, or giving me the physical or emotional support I needed. It’s those gestures of care that mean a lot when your body feels like it’s fighting you, and ‘By Your Side’ represents that gentle love we share.
