Sarah McClure

Sarah is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Flow Forward NJ. She is a class of 2022 grad from Rowan University, where she earned her degrees in Political Science and International Studies. She is a 2024 graduate from Rutgers University, where she earned her MA in Political Science.

After experiencing period poverty during her junior year at Rowan, Sarah wanted to do something related to access to menstrual products on Rowan’s campus. Together with her co-founder, Logan, she advocated for free menstrual product machines at the University, which they have since implemented in campus academic buildings. After graduating, Sarah was determined to make Flow Forward NJ into a statewide nonprofit to help others who were struggling as she had. Sarah hopes that one day, all those in New Jersey will have access to menstrual products in a variety of ways, and menstruators will feel empowered to talk about their period!
