Pranita Sannidhi

Pranita is a rising senior on the premedical track at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. She remembers her first lesson about periods and the tension that permeated the room afterwards – everyone was nervous about experiencing menstruation and what it would mean for their bodies growing up. That was the first time Pranita felt the need for menstrual health education, eventually aiding in efforts to address period poverty in NJ. Pranita is dedicated to spreading awareness about menstrual health through educational workshops and other Flow Forward NJ efforts. Aside from her work with FFNJ, Pranita volunteers at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and works as a medical scribe, while also guiding Rutgers Honors College freshmen through their college experience.
